Defender Libby Gilmore was another key player at the heart of United's backline last season. Having made 20 league appearances last season, Libby has committed to another year at Abingdon United.Sister of Freya, Libby made her Abingdon United debut in August 2023, coming on as a second half substitute against Swindon Town.
The defender previously played for Oxford United, having also had a spell on loan at Southampton Women FC. Gilmore also represented Northern Ireland, at both Under 17 and Under 19 level, making her international debut against Greece in 2018.
