The Physiotherapist will be responsible for the rehabilitation, treatment, and prevention of injuries for the players. The successful candidate will work closely with the coaching staff to ensure the health and fitness of the team.
Location:
• Home games: Abingdon United FC
• Away games: Various locations
Reports to:
• 1st Team Manager
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physiotherapy services at all home and away matches on Sundays.
• Conduct assessments and diagnoses of players' injuries.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for injured players.
• Provide pre- and post-match treatments, including massages, taping, and injury prevention exercises.
• Work closely with the coaching staff to create injury prevention and fitness programs.
• Keep detailed records of players' treatments and progress.
• Ensure all treatment equipment and supplies are maintained and replenished as needed.
Qualifications:
• Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF)
• Previous experience working with athletes or sports teams, preferably in football.
• Strong knowledge of injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work weekends.
Compensation:
• Pay is done per game.
