Attacking player Dyer joins up with United ahead of Sunday's league game against Southampton.

Abingdon United Women are delighted to announce the signing of striker Mollie Dyer, who signs for the Club from Milton United.

Formerly of Oxford United, Dyer spent six years with Milton, scoring 122 goals in 102 games, in all competitions.

2017/18 also saw the attacker have a spell with Oxford City, scoring 27 goals in just 18 appearances.

The 24-year-old joins up with Sam Froud's squad ahead of our latest FA Women's National League encounter with Southampton Women's FC, and will wear the Number 9 shirt for the Club.

Dyer said: “Im really pleased to have signed for Abingdon United. I am looking forward to the new challenge ahead of me.

"I have so far been very impressed with the set up. I can't wait to get started.“

Interim Head Coach Sam Froud said: “I'm really excited to have Mollie join the squad.

"She’s fit into the group really well already and I’m excited to see her grow and flourish in an Abingdon shirt”

“The progression this side is making at this time is so pleasing to see, and Mollie joining the side is another visual to that. We are only going in one direction now and that is forwards.”

Welcome to The Northcourt, Mollie!
