Match Preview written by Jamie Stonehouse.
After United's positive performance on the weekend, they will hope that's the start of a strong run of form, as Abingdon look to secure FAWNL safety.
Last weekend's result was a huge result for the Yellows. A 4-2 win, against Portishead, gave Abingdon a bigger gap in front of the relegation zone. Molly Lygo scored a brace, whilst Lauren May and Charlotte Deeley were also on the scoresheet.
Abingdon will want to build on this result as they host Maidenhead United at The Northcourt. The previous time these two faced in the league was a stalemate draw, with neither team scoring and both defences claiming a clean sheet.
Last weekend's win puts Abingdon only one position behind this weekend's opponent and with Maidenhead winning their game at the weekend, very comfortably 3-0 away from home, both teams are expecting a competitive game this weekend.
