Match Preview written by Jamie Stonehouse
After a very successful game last weekend, Abingdon will want to gain another three points against a Bridgwater United side who only sits two places above them in the league.
The Yellows impressively gained a massive three points last week against a high-flying side, Worthing, winning 2-1 with two late goals in a space of five minutes by Mollie Dyer and Molly Lygo, which has pushed United further into safety at 17 points, sitting in 9th, two places above relegation.
This late win will have Abingdon in high spirits coming into the reverse fixture as this weekend it will be at The Northcourt again, giving The Yellows a strong advantage. The last time these two faced each other was the very first game of the season, where Mimi Hodges got the goal just before half time, with The Yellows keeping a clean sheet and taking the three points away from home.
United can secure FA Women's National League safety this weekend if they claim victory over Bridgwater, and Portishead Town fail to pick up points away at Bristol Rovers

Pre-Match Thoughts: Sam Froud, Chris Smith and Mollie Dyer
First Team Coach Sam Froud is in the hot seat for our pre-match thoughts ahead of this weekend's encounter with Bridgwater United.
The squad has gained momentum of late, with three wins in a row at The Northcourt, and Froud is hoping the team can use that to their advantage.
He said: "Momentum is a massive thing at this stage of the season. Performances go out the window a bit, you just need results.
"We're really pleased. If you're going to pick up big results like we have done recently, then this is definitely the stage of the season to do it."
On Worthing: "When you go and win a game late on like that, it goes to show all the hard work off the pitch does come back to give you the awards."
Froud was in charge on an interim basis the past two times we faced Worthing, with both ending in defeats, during a difficult time of the season for United after a long search for a new head coach.
Having been involved throughout, Froud reflected on the progress of the group since then.
He said: "You have those tricky periods. Those tricky periods build strong characters.
"We've got quite a young squad. I think you've seen those players really galvanise together."
United can retain FAWNL status this weekend with a win, and results going in their favour.
However, Froud stresses that their is not too much pressure on this weekend's fixture.
He explained: "We've not put a massive pressure on what we've got to do. Let's just put as much as we can into it and what the outcome will be will be. As long as we put 100% in, we can't ask for much more out of the staff and players."
Head Coach Chris Smith also looked ahead to this weekend's clash after our victory last week.
He said: "They're hard to beat. They score a lot of goals. But The Northcourt is a hard place to come.
"We've got to go and finish the job now. It isn't done. Portishead can go and get a result, and then they've got two games to go and save themselves. They'll have the belief.
"When it's done we'll be okay, but until then we need to finish it off."
Mollie Dyer spoke on the team togetherness ahead of Sunday's game, after the team's recent run of form.
Dyer has scored five goals in ten games since joining the club in November, firing home the equaliser last time out.
She said: "I think we can beat anyone now with the team spirit we have. We just need to stick together and get through the last three games.
"Hopefully we can achieve what we want out of the season. We've come together really well as a team."
