Chris Smith's side will be looking to respond from last time out, after a loss to Moneyfields 4-1 in the concluding game of 2024. Abingdon will be focused on starting the new year strong, but a difficult task lies ahead of them.

Rovers, who currently sit in 5th place in the FAWNL Division One South West, finished 2024 in style as they beat Tier Three side Oxford United in the Adobe Women's FA Cup, setting up a clash with WSL side Aston Villa next week.

The last time these teams clashed was earlier in the season in September 2024, when Abingdon hosted Rovers at The Northcourt.

Despite Olivia Smith's first senior goal that day, it wouldn't be enough to take anything away from the game, as the visitors on the day took a 4-1 victory back to Bristol.
